SETTING UP WHOLE COLLEGE ENVIRONMENT FOLLOWING THEIR POLICIES
May 2022 To Jun 2022
OBJECTIVE: Help college in setting up whole environments that staffs and students needed everyday.
Key Tasks:
- ➜ Meeting with manager and define what enterprise edition of miscrosoft services and licenses we need to establish.
- ➜ Creating internal staffs', student's, External staffs accounts defining their roles and prividing licenses according to what they need.
- ➜ APIC’s one drive creation and organize all folders according to the needs while keeping in mind different departments, and folder permissions needed.
- ➜ Microsoft Azure platform and all VM’s organize.
- ➜ Axcelerate LMS setup as needed, create users, permissions, define role, survey design and creation following policies of college.
- ➜ Organize all outlook accounts, creation of all required signatures for different accounts to make everyday easier.
- ➜ Organize resources on LMS (Learning Management System) for different users.
Outcome:
Everything was completed within a months and from first day of student enrolment everything is running smooth without having big issues, same time i am working towards continuous improvement.
DEVELOP SOLUTION FOR ENTERPRISE NETWORK ARCHITECTURE
Feb 2021 To May 2021
OBJECTIVE: Design and configure small-scale enterprise networks in Windows Server 2016 Hyper-V
Key Tasks:
- ➜ Installing AD DS, Child Domain, and RODC in Virtual machines.
- ➜ Operating Root Domain machine to verify the existing domain controller and member computer in the network.
- ➜ Creating OU (Organisation Units), and user account in domain for managing.
- ➜ Creating group policy and look after permissions for different department.
- ➜ Basic administration tasks (User creation, password reset, enable/disable account and restore deleted account linked with email account).
- ➜ Performing application management by restricting the machine to not display password reveal button.
- ➜ Managaing software by putting restriction on user to allow to access certain software.
Outcome:
Sucessfully designed, configured active directory, created organisation units and managed user accounts and passwords. Managed the virtual machine by putting constraints with application accessibility.
COMPUTER NETWORK DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION
Jun 2020 To Nov 2020
Objective: To design network topologies for a small organisation in the first part of project, which has 240 work stations and perform OSPF routing protocols in different area networks, and in the second part of project, to apply routing with OSPF along with NAT-PT.
Key Tasks:
- ➜ Subnetting IP address for each device, and ports between Layer 3 switches and routers.
- ➜ Designing a topology for 5 departments by assigning layer 2 switch in each building department with VLANs to separate each department in different VLANs to reduce security risk by mitigating hosts receive copies frame.
- ➜ Implementing First Hop Redundancy Technology in Layer 3 switches in topologies to improve load balancing and fault-tolerance.
- ➜ Performing OSPF routing protocol in the second project based on a small-scale network, which can be supervised centrally.
- ➜ Applying NAT PT in router to allow IPv6 devices communicate IPv4 devices.
Outcome:
The topology was successfully designed with the implementation of VLANs, HRSP, and NAT in the first part of the project. In the second part of project, OSPF was applied in the given topology to allow the devices to communicate to others with the shortest path. NAT-PT was used to enable the communication between IPv6-only devices and IPv4-only devices and reduce the high cost of IPv6.
